Lots to tell you…

It’s been four months since I last wrote to my loyal readers, and I have lots to tell you. I’ve felt like I’ve been in a whirlwind of work and emotions since the holidays. So, let’s get started.

During the holidays, I had to deal with a number of personal issues that I cannot go into here, but just know they interfered with my writing life. I muddled through and reached my target of getting Book 9 of the Consortium Series, ‘Resurgence’, and the third installment of the Consortium Origins, ‘Shadowed Integration’, out on time. The holidays are always a stressful time for me, and I did it to myself by adding more to it in trying to get the two novels published. I hope you enjoyed reading them, and if you haven’t yet, why not? Go ahead and read them, and send me your considered thoughts. And don’t forget to write a review. I love reading them, whatever your feelings about them are.

Which takes me into late January 2026. I took a little time off from writing and began cleansing my mind of my self-imposed stress. At the same time, I fielded many comments asking when Book 10 of the Consortium Series would be released. Now, take a deep breath, just as I did just now. It’s going to be a while. While I have thoughts on where to take the series, I need to step back for a bit to focus on another storyline that remains unfinished and seems abandoned.

That would be my ‘Mona Bendarova’ series. It started with ‘The Taste of Honey’ and allowed me to dive into the world of writing novels for the general public. Currently, the last published book in the series, Book 4, ‘Angry Bitch’, ends with a significant, unresolved cliffhanger. I hate that. I need to finish that series. I vowed to myself to work on it after finishing my current projects. Now that they are put to bed, I’m determined to get going on that series next.

But before I do that, and yes, there is a but, I realized my early books in the Consortium Series needed significant editing. Why? I realized that as I wrote more and more, my writing improved, and I didn’t like aspects of what I’d written in earlier novels. So, I’m editing them and resubmitting them for publication. I’ve already done that for Books 1 through 3, and I’m almost done with Book 4. I will consider this editing done when I finish Book 5.

After that, I will start on finishing my Mona Bendarova Series. It’s been way too long, and I know several of my readers are frustrated that I didn’t finish it. I know all you Consortium readers understand.

In the meantime, I’d like to point you to another author’s dark thrillers, ‘Monsters in the Dark’ by Pepper Winters. That’s where I started, and then moved on to more of her excellent books.

Take care and keep sending me those comments. As I said, I enjoy reading them.
