  1. Hi there… (should have reread before I sent) I meant to say IT went exactly in the right direction…anyway, the reason being is just because, like Avril, I do like to root for the underdog. Raven, finally, MAYBE, coming around to at least be civil, with Avril. Avril and Sir finally moving out….and in with his father…that should be interesting, in itself. I liked how the chapters went to different segments of what was happening in different areas. Knowing that Avril MAY be pregnant could turn things in a lot of different directions. Does she run with her child and get away, does she stay and eventually RUN the consortium…teaching the new “heir” the ways of the business for the next generation? Maybe, even, Raven steps in and takes over the raising of her brother’s child, as her own, because “something” happens to Sir and Avril… so many different directions and I, for one, am excited to see where this goes.

I have also read the Bendarova Series, so I will be anxious to read the next book in that series…maybe, at some point, the two series could “merge”….Bendarova meets Avril…what then???

    Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and thank you for the head up on the Pepper Winters books. I will, definitely, check them out.

    HAPPY WRITING!!!!!!!!
and, I hope things have improved on the home front 🙂

    1. Debbie,
You brought up several possibilities for future books, some I hadn’t thought of before. I agree. It will exciting to see where this story goes.

As for Avril and Mona meeting, that would be quite the trick. Mona lives in a world over a thousand years after Avril’s timeline. However, one way to do a crossover would be on use some sort of SciFi plot. Perhaps Mona finds Avril hidden in some sort of suspended animation tube, sleeping peacefully for centuries. That would be one way for her to escape the brutal world of the Consortium and into a different brutal world struggling to deal with the survival of the human species from extinction. As you wrote. It will be exciting to see how both series move forward.

Thank you for being such a special reader of mine and all those other authors you read regularly.
      HAPPY READING.

  2. Hi there….
I just finished RESURGENCE. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think your best so far….I went exactly in the right direction!!
    So, what’s next???
THAT….is the question and should be an excellent read.
    My thought…..(stealing from a show)….EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED 🙂

    THANK YOU!!!

    1. Debbie,
I’m so happy to read your comment, and glad you liked the book. Let me ask you. What was the thing that grabbed you the most in the story, that led you to exactly to the right direction you wanted?

Next up? I’m finishing up on book 3 in the Consortium prequel series, called ‘Shadowed Integration.’ That one will close out the prequel series with a lead in to book 1 ‘The Consortium Trafficking.’ After that, I have to return to my Bendarova Series and finish it. Once I suffered my brain injury, my return to writing turned towards the Consortium Series. After that is done, I’ve got ideas on what to do with the Consortium. Afterall, I left a cliffhanger in book 9 for a follow-up.

In the meantime, I also have an intense liking for the books by Pepper Winters, especially her ‘Monsters in the Dark’ series. She spins a delightful tale that lines up with my stories. I think you’d like them.

  3. Hello! I am a fellow author, and a company called Pro Designs contacted me, saying you are their client. Is this true? If not, they are scamming me and using your name without your permission. I apologize for bothering you. It seems you have received a few messages like mine already

  4. Greetings,
My name is Jim Wang and I need to talk to you about this. I’m trying to promote my book and I feel that we both dabble in dark fantasy works. I’m already creating a dark fantasy graphic novel, but I need to ask you an important question. I have a facebook page for my book, but someone messaged me with your name. They told me that they want to work with me and help promote my book, but when I tried to search their credentials, what I find is that you show up in the search results. Here is the link to that page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61557473987323&sk=photos
If this isn’t you, how do I report this page? Because I was scammed in the past and I don’t want this to happen again.

    1. Morning,
Researching anyone offering to provide you services before you bite is always worthwhile. Since you found me on my website, you’ve already made big inroads into protecting yourself.

I did not send you such an offer, and it is likely a scam. I took a look at the profile you sent. While they used my name, there is nothing of note supporting their activities. Everything on the profile is hidden or non-existant. To report a fraud or suspicious profile, follow these steps. I will be doing so on my end. Good luck with your venture into writing and promoting your work.

  5. Dear Richard,

Merry Christmas! I’ve just finished the seventh book in the Consortium series, and I’m absolutely blown away. It was well worth the wait after the thrilling escape and cliffhanger ending in Book 6. You truly outdid yourself, especially with the development of Raven and the incredible conclusion of this installment.

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I loved the book and how eagerly I’m anticipating Book 8. The way Book 7 ended has me counting down the days, and in the meantime, I’m diving back into the series from the beginning to satisfy my imagination until the next story is released.

Thank you for your amazing work—I look forward to seeing what’s next for the Consortium world!

    Best Regards,

    David

    1. Thank you for reading and commenting on my writing. I always appreciate it when a reader takes some of their precious time to contact me. I’m happy you like it. I’m hard at work writing Book 8, although the holiday season did interrupt my writing a little. Never fear, I’m well into the next installment of the story. Besides, writing a good story takes time. I hope you’ll agree it will be worth the wait.

Best wishes in this holiday season, and have a joyous New Year.
      Richard

  6. Hello! I’m a huge fan of your books and I was just wondering, is the 7th book the last one? I have yet to read it out of anxiety over ending the series and continue to just reread the others! I know all good things must come to an end but I am hoping I still have a couple more books to go! Thank you so much and I hope you’re having a wonderful day! 🙂

    1. Hell no. I’ve already written 15 chapters of book 8, as yet unnamed. I hope to finish it this coming winter. Since each book is about 100,000 words, it takes a while. Thank you for reading my stories. I appreciate it.

  7. I absolutely loved the series The Trafficking Consortium! Is a seventh book in the works? And if so when will it be available on Kindle? Thanks

    1. Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate it.

I started a seventh book. I’ve paused writing in order to take care of a serious household medical situation. I’m hoping to get back into it within the next month or two. To learn more, read my blogs over the past several months. Focus on the ones from June to October and January 16. https://richardverry.com/blog/

  8. Hello – hoping this post finds you well. I do hope that your home front is starting to improve, some, for you with this new year. Good Vibes being sent your way.
I do have a question for you. Do you ever sell any AUTOGRAPHED books?
This is my new “passion” to collect books that have been autographed by the writer.
I have read ALL of your books, via eBooks on my Kindle. But, if I could buy an autographed one for my collection, that would be the best!!
Thank you so much for your time.
I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the Consortium Series.

    1. Good afternoon, Debbie

Thank you for the good vibes. I must be getting them as the home front is improving, if ever so slowly.

I don’t sell autographed books, but I can gift one to you. I need you to send me the shipping cost of $10.00. Do you do Venmo? If so, let me know which book you would like along with your Venmo account, email address, and where I need to ship it, and I’ll send you a Venmo code to pay for the shipping. You can send me an email to richard@richardverry.com to preserve your privacy from this online forum.
