What’s Happening With Richard Verry

Here’s what’s happening with Richard Verry of late.

New Release: ‘Shadowed Instruction’ hit the shelves on September 30, 2025. It’s book 2 in the Consortium Origins, of a planned three-book Series. It’s available now on Amazon, and soon, on your favorite book reseller. It continues with the Consortium’s Chairman revealing the core of the business to his children. They take the news well, and are excited to get involved, and learning the ins and outs of a legacy that will one day be theirs. Did you get your copy yet? If not, get your copy here: Shadowed Instruction on Amazon.

Upcoming Release: ‘Shadowed Integration’ (Book 3 in the Consortium Origins Series) is well underway for a winter release. This release moves the children into the leadership role of the Consortium and taking the business into new heights of drama and suspense.

Counterblow, Book 8 in the Consortium Series is a Success. Released in July 2025, it has received fantastic support from current and new readers. It’s chock full of drama and trauma, with erotic suspense mixed throughout. Sir and Avril’s romance grows, even as Sir’s sister, Raven hates Avril. More critical to Raven is getting revenge on those who orchestrated the loss of their auction center, cavea. Who were they, you ask? Two young women who suffered loss at the hands of the Consortium. If you haven’t read this story yet, why not? Read it today at Amazon.

What’s Next? Resurgence (working title) Consortium Book 9 is next. I recently completed the draft manuscript and moved it into the editing stage. What’s the tease? Sir and Avril’s romance blossoms, like a Day Lilly that opens during the day and closes at night. There’s raw trauma that prey and consortium members alike must deal with. I hope to release this edition of the Consortium Series by the end of the year.

What am I planning For 2026?

I need to finish the Mona Bendarova Series, starting with ‘The Taste of Honey’. Once I suffered my severe concussion, I never got beyond book 4, which ends with a severe cliffhanger. Therefore, the story does not have a resolution. It’s been on my mind for the past few years, and even more so this past year. Mona needs to know what’s coming, I need to know how she deals with the attacks against her, and my readers, well let’s just say the feedback I’ve received indicates they hate the abrupt ending. I don’t blame them.

ReWrite my ‘Her Client Trilogy’. It’s a decent story, but it need severe editing. I plan on taking care of that.

The same goes for my novella, ‘The Breakup’. It too needs severe editing.

After that, I have ideas on where to take ‘The Consortium Series’ plus a plethora of story ideas I’ve collected over the years while my efforts were placed on writing the Consortium books.
