In this installment of the Consortium Series, the story picks up several months after Heather’s death by poisoning at her parents’ funeral. The Consortium is responsible, of course, using a radioactive element to carry out the assassination.

It’s late spring again, and Raven has taken down the human popsicles she planted over the winter and prepared her outdoor space for more adventurous escapades. The outdoor pool is open, with sparkling blue water. The plants in the solarium eagerly soak up the bright sun before the heat of summer requires sun-filtering shades overhead.

For Raven, things seem to be going well, and she’s happy. But all good things must come to an end in her world. One problem after another unfolds, disrupting her peace and turning her world upside down. When will it all end? Things need to change, and they definitely do.

Secrets are exposed, a new threat jeopardizes her peaceful home life, and a new target emerges that needs an ending. What else is new?
