Intriguing and Hard to Put Down
Hello, I just completed reading all three of the Consortium Series books. I wanted to tell you; I have found these books intriguing and frankly, these three books were all hard to put down, once I started reading them. Will you be continuing this Consortium Series with a fourth book? Thanks for these compelling books. ~FM

Consortium Series, Couldn't Put Them Down
I just finished your Consortium series. I couldn't put them down. In fact, I read all 3 books within 2 days! While this was my first time reading books of this subject matter, I found the stories frightening, yet compelling in a way I have never experienced, as I've never been drawn to thrillers or horrors. ~La-Quinn Darnt

Well worth the read but not for the faint of heart.
I know it says this is a stand alone but I do hope there is a sequel. This book was a very disturbing read that played havoc with my emotions. I found myself hating all the members of the Consortium. It definitely takes you to some dark places and messes with your mind. Somehow I was left with the hope that Avril would take revenge on The Consortium at the end but at the same time it was left unclear, leaving me with the feeling that she was content with her situation as it turned out. Well worth the read but not for the faint of heart. ~Marsa

Overpowering

Once you start to read this overpowering book, you can't put it down. It's debatable if it is out of curiosity of what is going to happen next, or fear of what will happen. Thinking that this could really be going on in real life is frightening. Avril's strength leads her through an unbelievable journey of horrific events. Sir is a cruel sadist, calculating, brutal and very charming. It is a hard read at several times, but I loved every word of it. A sequel is definitely needed. ~GS The Trafficking Consortium

Perfect Prey

'Perfect Prey' is a scary thriller, don't read it at night and alone!
As I see the news about the jogger missing, I can't help think of Mr. Verry's book, Perfect Prey. This is excellent writing as the writer exposes a "Consortium" that arranges for people to be taken from all over the world. What is scary is I can picture myself in this story. The scene with the girl and the snake used for the group's entertainment is both terrifying and exhilarating. It is written so well that I couldn't wait to see what happens next. It is a thriller that I couldn't put down. I hope the author is working on book three of this story. I will buy it to see the conclusion of this "so true to life" thriller. What is next for Avril? I hope and like when the heroine gets revenge. ~J.M.
'Perfect Prey,' Finally... Book 2
Once I started reading, it was hard to put down. It picked up closely to where the 1st book left off. The introduction of new characters and their situations were believable. Which leaves you with the question, “could this happen to me or someone i know?’ I believe the answer is definitely a YES. The main characters continue on with their lifestyle. Will Avril betray Sir or submit body, mind and soul? It could go either way depending on her circumstances. We can only wait and see. I thought it was well written and i enjoyed reading it. I’m hoping for another book to continue the journey ~G.S. - Amazon Customer

I read [both] "The Trafficking Consortium," and I was glued to it. I went on to "Perfect Prey." Wow! When I got to the chapter of Rachel and the transplant, I could not go on; that was too much for me and I put the book away. I kept thinking about the character, Avril though. I had to find out about her so I picked the book up again. In the end, in the Author's notes, you mention Avril and her story. Will there be another book? I would so love to know what her destiny is - does she get the opportunity to destroy the Consortium; leave "Sir" and end this reign of torment and killing? I also was curious about the characters of Robert and Lara —  whatever happened to them? Thank You! Carolyn

Consortium Series, too good to just end
I liked the story but I hated the end. I didn't want in epilogue I wanted a continuation of Sir getting his just deserts. Please write a book 4! ~Rebaliz
Author's comment: Of course. The next book is in the works. I also want to see Sir get his just desserts. I am eager to see how it turns out. The big question is, will Avril survive?

UnderCurrents

Fiction on a very serious problem in the world today
Mr. Verry's writing seems to capture the subject of the Sex Trafficking trade and how this "Trade" is very likely to happen and keep hidden for years and years. He focuses on a few select characters in his book and tells their story. I have finished "Undercurrents" and enjoyed every word! I would rate it 5 stars. Naturally it keeps your interest. Avril's story is very interesting and in the last couple of chapters I get the sense that she is beginning to enjoy being with "Sir" and likes participating in the torture. She has been with him for a few years now is "trying to make the best of it" as she has said, but I can't help but wonder if she is resigning herself to her fate. Don't know if I want her to be a member of the Consortium or not! I love wondering about the different ways this story can go - I'm looking so forward to seeing where Heather and her father will end up. And what a surprise with Shelby! Katie's story can also go down so many different roads. Please keep your readers abreast of the next book; you left so many hints in Undercurrents as to what can happen in the future of The Consortium, Avril, Katie, Heather, etc. Looking forward to more from you. I think of all different avenues you can go to - can't wait!! Love your writing, Mr. Verry and wish you great success in future projects! Carolyn

Perfect - UnderCurrents
I loved the book. My initial thought was to read slowly so I could make the book last longer. However, once I started it was hard to put the book down. After reading the other 2 books, this continued to take the reader deeper into the characters’ lives, thoughts and feelings. I found myself sympathizing less with some characters than I had before. But being greedy, wanting more and more from them. It's interesting to see how far each character will go to survive the lifestyle they are put in. After finishing the book, I stopped to think..... Could this really happen? Has it already happened? Is there a remote possibility that an organization such as this could exist? Do people really do things to excite their own pleasure at the expense of others? I think the answer is a definite YES. The writer has a way of letting you become, fear or desire each of the characters, or at least the ones you favor. Looking forward to book #4. ~GS

Cliffhangers
The author, Richard Verry, tells a spectacular story but his cliffhangers are more torture for the reader. Is there a plan for a fourth book? I don't want to be a spoiler so I'll just say, there are too many loose ends which need to be tied up for the story to conclude. The conclusion doesn't have to be an HEA, which I suspect would and could not happen. Just need answers to finish the story and character's lines. So what happens to the Consortium and their prey?
Reply from the author
I'm happy you think I tell a spectacular story. Avril's story is not over, she has a lot more to do, suffering along the way. Her determination to do something about the Consortium remains undaunted. Book 4 is in the works, and I have a plan for at least another book or two after that.

Continuation of a dark journey - Infiltration

worth the wait - Infiltration
Richard, it was worth the wait! If I was writing a review, I'd advise new readers to start with book one of the Consortium series. Book one through three really got into your creativity and the details which are the backbone of the Consortium series. If I'm being critical, please forgive me. But I must conclude that the epilogue was the best of the best of Richard Verry! I can't wait till Avril, Sir and the rest of the Consortium Book five.

Engaging Story!
This book engages you right from the opening paragraph. I liked the emotions depicted in this book and I found that the author doesn't have to state them for the reader to capture those feelings. I really was intrigued how the author depicted the characters. He was very descriptive and the reader could easily get to know them and even identify with their actions. After reading this book, it made me thirsty for more. ~Janet M

I'm hiding so I can concentrate on reading!
Steamy romance novels filled my head with all sorts of allusion of what it would be like to be a sexy grown-up. That was then, and this is now. I find myself doing the same thing with Richard's book, only I have kids playing in the background. So I'm hiding so I can concentrate on reading! I've been under the comforter most nights, reading Richard Verry's title, "The Taste of Honey" and calling out from under there saying "go ask Daddy" and returning promptly to my hot and steamy read. I actually enjoyed Richard's book very much, from beginning to end. His books were a bit of a stretch for my usual taste but I'm glad I delved in and had a read. Right now I'm finishing up "Broken Steele".  Have YOU read Richard's books yet? ~Leah Hart

Engaging!
Mr. Verry has done it again! The second book in the Mona Bendarova Adventures gives readers insight into Mona's investigatory skills as well as her rise to power within her community. The story engages the reader from the beginning. It is helpful that the author reminds us of the focus of the first book, 'The Taste of Honey' and how it relates to this sequel. It's easy reading and I continue to enjoy and discover Mona's adventures. I'm sure you will too. ~Janet M

Captivating!
Here is another intriguing book in this series. Something different is it flashed back to Honey, who is a big part of who Mona is. The bond of their friendship and what they do to survive. Other characters are developing and showing their true allegiance to Mona. The ones that don't, Mona shows no mercy. The authors descriptions of events seem so very realistic. There are moments when you want to stop reading, but have no choice but to continue on because you want more. Mona proves she is stronger than what she and others believed. Now to wait and see how Mona handles the future happenings. Only the author knows what is in store for Mona and the rest of her Society. Any hints? ~GS on Lucky Bitch

Fabulous!
Angry Bitch 3D book coverThis latest book of Mr. Verry in the “Mona” series is fabulous. I loved, loved, loved it. From the first to the last sentence it had my complete attention. You get so involved with each character and their part in the story. It’s hard to picture their way of life and how they think of themselves. It is exciting, descriptive in ways that make you shudder. You might stop reading, and think “I’m done, this is not my cup to tea, lol.” And then you come back for more. You can not help it. And more is what we want and need of this story. Mona’s story is becoming more than just about her day to day life. There is history of how her lifestyle came to be and now a glimpse of what it can become. But will it? Much has to change and that takes time and the desire. Mona has the desire. The question is, does she have the time before others take over? Can she survive the attacks made on her and her House? Time will tell. ~GS on Angry Bitch

The trilogy was awesome and hooray for the woman in the story.... She really suffered, but she came out on top at the end... and I'd like to see more of our heroine in future books.... That would be so awesome, women fighting the injustice of human trafficking....
