Happy New Year 2020

Happy New Year 2020

To all my fans and readers of my books, Happy New Year 2020. I hope it is a good one for you and yours.

Do you make New Year’s Resolutions? I’d love to know what they are. As for me, I don’t. There’s so much I want to do, I can’t prioritize them into a resolution.

Happy New Year 2020

I’ll be one year closer to my retirement from my regular job that pays the bills and keeps a roof over my head. I enjoy my jigsaw puzzles and tinkering around the house. I continue to draw and paint, though I’m falling behind on that.

The real priority is writing my stories and getting them to you. If I resolve anything for the new year, it is publishing three books. Yes, three books this year.

New Stories to Come

The first is Book 4 in the Consortium series. I don’t have a name for it yet, though I am tossing around several titles. I have several chapters written. Look for it at the end of the year.

Look for Book 4 in the Mona Bendarova Series called ‘Angry Bitch.’ It’s written, edited, and ready for publication. Expect it by February 2020. I’m holding it back for now, as I am working on something else in Mona’s story.

I will release in February 2020 a new edition to ‘The Taste of Honey.’ I am deep into a full rewrite of the story, including re-editing it, new material, and issuing it with a brand new cover. I’m excited to finish this.

You may ask yourself why I am working on this. It’s because when I wrote ‘The Taste of Honey,’ I never expected to write the second book in Mona’s story. In fact, I thought it would be a one and done in my career as a writer. Things worked out differently and for the better.

Pour yourself a glass of champagne.

Writing it as a single book is fine and all. However, Mona’s story has taken on a life of its own. What I wrote in the first edition, as good as a story it is, can confuse the reader when reading the later novels. I am making it stay true to the rules established in the following books. Plus, it needed severe editing anyway. Ergo, if I am going to re-edit it, I might as well bring it in line with the others.

So, pour yourself a drink, be it coffee, tea, or champagne, curl up into your favorite chair, and read. Of course, I encourage you to read my books, but any will do.

Have a Happy New Year 2020.
